When the year 1914 begins, the Clerget-Blin Society has only four months of existence. On August 13, 1913, Pierre Clerget and his partner Eugène Blin filed in the trade register the name of the company Clerget-Blin et Cie, located at 37, rue Cavé in Levallois, within the premises of the industrial firm Malicet-Blin ( automobile construction). The new company is the starting point for new achievements: air-cooled rotary engines which, throughout the years of the 1914-1918 war, experience extraordinary success and give rise to a total production exceeding more than thirty thousand units. .
