Home insulation from the outside

by the middle » 24/07/07, 19:25

Hello everyone,
I am currently on vacation in Poland, and, I notice, that lots of houses, buildings, are under thermal insulation.
The technique is simple (insulation from the outside)
They stick on the outside walls, frigolite, thickness 15 cm, + -
And to protect the frigolite, they cap a kind of cement glue, which also makes it possible to color and smooth the entire surface perfectly.
The result is perfect, and there is no thermal bridge in addition, because insulation from the outside,
Frigolite = polistyrene expense. It is not ecological, but the result is there.
Text written on a Polonai keyboard in qwerty ,,,,,,,
Will try to take pictures

I saw it do near my home: in addition they wrap the frigolite with a film of reinforced polyester and cap with a silicone plaster. The effect is nickel.
But it is in a city, I hope that it will not give too many ideas to kids ...
