Suppliers for France and Belgium

Lists of energy operators for 2007.

1) For Belgium liberalization from January 1 2007er:

a) For electricity and electricity-gas:

EDF Belgium (yes): http://be.edf.com/30001i/EDF-en-Belgique.html
Electrabel (the current Belgian "Edf" subsidiary of Suez): http://www.electrabel.be/
Eneco: http://www.eneco.be/ (Flemish)
E.On: http://www.eon-benelux.com/ (Flemish as the site is not even french ...)
Essent: http://www.essent.be/maison/
Lampiris: http://www.lampiris.be/home.html
Nuon: http://www.nuon.be/

SPE: http://www.spe.be/Index-fr.cfm under the sub-brands:
Citypower: http://www.citypower.be/
Luminus: http://www.luminus.be (the home page clearly shows the "Belgian NS cleavage")

b) For single gas:
Distrigas: http://www.distrigas.be/
Gaz de France: http://www.gazdefrance.com/
Wingas: http://www.wingas.de/ (German site)

Some offer "green" electricity offers, but is this electricity really green?

Indeed, citypower (for example) offers the cheapest renewable (at least on paper) that the nuclear of the incumbent operator Electrabel. This is hardly credible (at least from a perspective of econologue) ....

For more information, a good site made by the Walloon Region: http://www.liberalisation-gaz-electricite.be/intro.html

For my part, I will prepare a "Liberalization" section on the site just to summarize all this ...

2) For France:

1) Direct-Energy: http://www.direct-energie.com/ (Offer green electricity: http://www.direct-energie.com/offre_energie_purjus.php )
2) Enercoop: http://www.enercoop.fr/
3) Altergaz: http://www.altergaz.fr/
4) Poweo: http://www.poweo.com/

A special mention for Enercoop that seems the most credible in providing green energy in really (see their partners: http://www.enercoop.ouvaton.org/societaires.php ) ... Now how real costs ( http://www.enercoop.fr/images/files/tar ... ercoop.pdf ) And for which reliable sourcing?

If you know of other operators thank you to indicate (with the site if possible ...)

For France, I recall that the pricing sadressent professionals. The opening to individuals will be in July 2007 and nothing says that the same tariff systems will be applied. This will surely be much more simplified.

Altergaz: http://www.altergaz.fr/
Tgas (not found website)
Poweo: http://www.poweo.com/

Elec operators:

Poweo: http://www.poweo.com/

Ok thank you Rulian :) (hard to find when you are more in France : Cheesy: )

I completed your message with the URL of the respective operators ...

Um if I had heard 2007 September for individuals in France ... it is July or September?

hellos,

I think for my hand qu'Enercoop seems most intérressant electricity suppliers in France. Its cooperative structure for real solidarity between producers and used. Equitable electricity comerce. Also it seems that they help the development of renewable power alternatives. Just a few months there has been a debate on libertarian radio with other presenting Enercoop. The guarantee of 100% renewable energy is a quality. The energy from the solidarity economy. I congratulate them for this initiative a + !!

Intention of "consumption" of electricity? Not too much anyway : Mrgreen:

It is possible to keep us informed of the progress (no pun to 2 under) the procedure?

Vui! : Wink:

If I apply the rates provided to my current cons, it makes me increased 48%, but this is pretty ridiculous, I spend about 110 170 € / year, to 11 17 € / month for my collection!
I will not deprive myself of consuming renewable for so little! :P

Well, you know the Swiss green power ?
