HHO kit and water injection prohibited at the Auto Technical Control by the DREAL

Tips, advice and tips to lower your consumption, processes or inventions as unconventional engines: the Stirling engine, for example. Patents improving combustion: water injection plasma treatment, ionization of the fuel or oxidizer.

the code is 041b2 energy mismatch with the identification document

They are really leather circles to throw at the nettles ...

In preliminary, I am not enlightened of the doping with water, some small gains can be obtained on the output of the engine, and in depollution of the exhaust gases, the gains can be very notable.

In short, let's get to the point: because we put a little water in the intake circuit, these clowns come to bring it back because it does not comply with the "gasoline" or "diesel" energy code. ..

And even if we do a little electrolysis of water (some do) with micro-injections of H2-O2, frankly we are in the puillième. In no case can this H2-O2 modification be considered the vehicle's fuel, it is more like an additive intended to improve combustion.

Right, but we never asked the administration to be smart but to apply standards and rules! : Cheesy:

We can understand their remark of fuel mismatch about the HHO kit (although it is a homeopathic injection of H2) but not on the H2O ... it is not a fuel! : Cheesy:

Hopefully, this is a (bad) initiative of a zealous regional official because I haven't read anything official on the subject. I searched, but white cabbage.

It was a simple CT employee who did this ...

Here is DREAL's answer:

15/01/20 12:07 PM Chalons vehicle - DREAL Grand Est / ST / QV / UCHA issued by ROLLOT Thierry - DREAL Grand Est / ST / QV / UCHA to Daniel S. details Sir,

Beyond the refusal during the passage to technical control, the installation of a device whose purpose is to modify the carburetion of the engine constitutes a notable transformation within the meaning of article R. 321-16 of the highway code requiring reception at isolated title.

Knowing that since their appearance in the 80s and 90s, none of the devices has demonstrated that they made it possible to meet the regulatory provisions relating to the release of pollutants, an isolated reception could not be successful.

For your information, in application of Article R321-4 of the Highway Code "The fact of putting or keeping a motor vehicle or a trailer in circulation without it having been the subject of an acceptance is punished by the fine provided for the fourth class contraventions. "

Remaining at your disposal for any further information, please receive, Sir, my best regards.

Disagree with the second paragraph but we asked for no more than one official ... : Cheesy:

If the administration prohibited methods that would really reduce consumption, there would indeed be reasons to mobilize.
But there the debate is vain. HHO is a smokehouse.

But we would still expect a "high official" not to make a mistake in conjugation ...

It's not just consumption and hho, it turns out that the injection of water promotes combustion, reduces clogging, pollution and wear on engines ... and all that in the end is an economic cost without even talking about consumption ... but people have become rather stupid they can no longer reason about sustainability ... except about their retirement ah these selfish : Cheesy:

Finally, the examples of laws that promote consumption and therefore pollution are legion ... where is the mobilization? : Cheesy:
