Solar thermal electric ball that disjuncts?

Solar thermal energy in all its forms: solar heating, hot water, choosing a solar collector, solar concentration, ovens and solar cookers, solar energy storage by heat buffer, solar pool, air conditioning and solar cold ..
Aid, counseling, fixtures and examples of achievements ...

A thermowell is a tight hole! : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy:

For wiring it is not very complicated: you open the existing adjustment box, you spot the resistance wires (regulation output) and you transfer them to the new regulation (in 2,5mm2, 3G2.5 so ...)

But before simply lower the set point and observe what is happening!

It may just be an overheating in the case ... 40 ° C is enough for showering! : Mrgreen:

Whether you set the temperature to 30 ° or 70 °, it's the same. Sometimes it jumps, sometimes not. Today, it only jumped once. Yesterday 5 or 6!

I'll do this tomorrow. It is a small encapsulated module. Thank you!

9 chances out of 10 that it is a thermal (which may be messing around) ... € 3 to change ...

With a little hope, I will be able to find the part (of better quality?) To change.

Guygadebois: "You have to press a small button located in the resistance box."

It's getting hot, this case!

Probably the 90 ° limiter which is defective or out of adjustment.
A resistor with integrated mechanical thermostat like this https://france-chauffage-solaire.fr/pie ... cs-39.html can be tested disassembled if the thermometer is working well or another thermostat in good condition.

If you disassemble to descale, it is better to have a spare gasket.
