Solar thermal: a reference site

It is a site of "self-destructors" of solar panels. It is a mine of information concerning thermal solar energy.

GREAT.

Thank you very much.

I've been looking for it for a long time: building my solar thermal collectors myself ..... I think I'll find a wealth of information in this site.

Too bad it is in Switzerland .... but hey, lack of training I will at least have instructions for use.

Thanks again. : Mrgreen:

On my installation, the 40 m2 sensors are made of copper (easy to modify and repair with tin soldering). The 1000 l tank is made of stainless steel, a satisfactory solution after rusting 2 in ordinary steel. I bought it new (chéro) because I did not find in recovery. It's easy to solder to the stainless steel rod. The heat exchanger can be external (stainless steel plate heat exchanger). My personal automatic drain system makes it possible to turn with ordinary water even in very cold weather. It turns impeccable since 25 years.
Good diy!
