Covid19 virus: the disinfectant mask by thermal viral inhibition (+ UVc?)?

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

I just tested it for 15 minutes heating at bottom not regulated (therefore 200 ° C) ... A priori no need ... it heats in the mask, we can feel the hot air coming to the face but no worries at the level of throat or bronchi ... In short, it is not embarrassing to ... live! If I have an embolism I would tell you! : Cheesy:

Advantage: there is no more fogging in the mask once the heating element is hot !! : Cheesy: : Mrgreen:

Psychologically it's been 1 hour 30 minutes that my home guinea pig uses it (without heating) ... No problem!

Can you estimate the LD50 of your guinea pig?
Note: I only ask for an approximation given the small sample size ...

Ahmed, what is the meaning of your question frankly? Humor? It's not reported, frankly!

Because "guinea pig" applies well to the son. And to speak of DL 50 on this subject is filthy : Evil:

The boy wears this mask just for the "bearable" (not to say the inconvenience) of this diving outfit (and without the resistance), during a calm domestic application!

"which conceives well, is bored ...."

Gegyx, you get angry for nothing: we can laugh at everything when we are in good company ... Reassure me, is that the case?

calm friends 8)

I was afraid the air was too hot to breathe, right?

well there would be more than testing the inspired air to see its microbiological content ... : Idea:

I had tested it on myself before eh ... the guinea pig0 it was me, it was the guinea pig ...

Yep Ahmed had to laugh ... I think I answered his question properly!

You have understood the usefulness of the test: assess the supportability ... of a category of people quite painful naturally! : Cheesy: : Cheesy:

As soon as the confinement ends I will buy myself one of these things ... I would put a big buzz of weed in the end of the snorkel ... : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

Ah ah ah Macro you never miss one you !! You will have to manage the differentiation between entry and exit if you do not want to spoil! : Cheesy:

I was sent information on the breathability of hot air:

It is an ISO standard related to medical respirators.

So we should be able to trust it all the more since it is not signed by INSERM (oops : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: )

ISO 8185-2007.pdf
(499.75 KB) Downloaded times 460

The admissible temperature is strongly linked to humidity (but we already knew it: it is much more difficult to breathe in a hammam at 45% RH than in a Finnish sauna at 75 ° C ...) ... obviously the duration also counts ...

If we extrapolate our data, the max. "durably" breathable is 65 ° C ... at 0% RH ... and 0% RH this never exists!

In short it will therefore have to cool the preheated air as some have quickly suggested ... suddenly I have to relocate the heating element ...

That's good, my UV tube will arrive (remains to manage its power since it is a 230V obviously ...) ... I have to get my hands on the big pipe !!

Page 29 you will also find a much more precise heat balance than the simple one I did above ...
