Hi looping

The carrier current in line (cpl), signal limit of 300 m, with your 80 m there should not be a lizard, and the flow should be good ...

On the econology shop there may be ...

see you

Must see.
It depends...

- Is there ground continuity between the 2 points to join?
- Are the 2 ends connected to the same electric meter?

Continuity of land => physical ethernet cable (cat> 5, over 100M max; if too weak, install a switch)

Same counter => CPL

Wi-Fi => use the wifi (300m without obstacle, otherwise more powerful antenna, range extender amplifier…) Yuck!

Gegyx slut,

lol from me, it's true that the simple ethernet cable as a solution is also very very good :) .... after it is price level and desired flow that must be effectively compared ...

thank you for responding as quickly gegyx, so yes I am connected to the same meter but the meter is at the end of the land and the chalet power supply is connected to the meter so does not go through the house, then during the construction of the chalet I buried a fi 45 which connects the house to the chalet (80 meters), then I admit that I am not too fond of wifi as you say "yuck" :x

Hi loopyng84
You have to be on the same phase, in the case of a three-phase circuit.

"But the meter should not be counted as securing the PLC network,
because this border is crossed by the PLC signal without problems, with at most a slight degradation of the signal. "
*** http://www.cpl-france.org/modules.php?n ... o=securite ***

cqfd = A Cpl works independently of the meter (according to CPL-France),
as long as we are on the same phase
The limit is that of the ES or EDF transformer:
if the meters are on the same "transformer", the PLCs on the same phase and less than 300m.

hello snag
I do not have the three-phase, on the other hand I forgot to say that the house, the chalet and the meter are at three different points from my land in fact it forms a triangle so I have 80 m from the house to the meter then 50 m counter to the chalet! I'm sorry I am not very clear in my explanations
last thing and not the least i live in the brouse : Lol: and I don’t have a big speed !!!!!!!!! at most 1 mega in the best days, so what loss should I expect

Without obstacle the Wifi will be sufficient at 80m distance.

If necessary add an antenna to the box and put it closest to the chalet ... (ideally outside)
