Telethon: a humanitarian scandal?

Telethon: a scandal!
90 million collected, a record! In this time of crisis, the French are still showing generosity and support for a humanist cause...that the labs and governments have abandoned. Orphan diseases are not profitable, they say shamelessly, so get over it or die.
And during this time, cynically, these labs are counting these 90 million that they will have saved on the billions that they will be able to distribute to their powerful and wealthy shareholders, it is that it brings in a lot of disease!
And what is the State doing which has resigned from its role of protector of the health of the population by handing over this role to private companies, whose primary function is to make profits, big ones, long before relieving suffering or even losing interest because they are not profitable.
All that remains are citizen initiatives replacing those who have resigned from “lost” causes. But these causes are multiplying more and more, and the generosity of each one is not infinite and tomorrow these causes will no longer be able to be supported and replaced by anything, in the medium or short term, and then: what will happen? of these lost causes and their "researchers" who will reinforce the unemployment figures?

let's make a little effort! How many grumble about the scandal of the billionaires who fill their pockets with it, but there (given the lack of reaction) it is considered 'normal' since it is under a false pretext of 'health', whereas these billions profits made on your back go directly into the pockets, and only theirs, of large industrial and financial groups through stock market games, shareholders.
And we make people cry in the cottages, with these telethons, over the sick povs abandoned by the BPs because it does not bring them huge profits.
Wake up you good people because we enc....!

Medicines more profitable than luxury watches
In 2012, for example, the 20 largest pharmaceutical companies earned € 112 billion. For the “oil supermajors”, we are around 100 billion euros. And for the luxury giants, LVMH and other Kering, Prada and Rolex, we have reached almost 20 billion euros in net profits.
