Talent is profit?

A shame... considering all the corrupt and rotten intalents of the system that you regularly cite... : Shock:

But you are right: long live the mediocre in mediocracy...you have to pay handsomely for the nullity!

Sorry but it will be without me!

I recognized Johnny, and the others without cheating.

He had quite a beard.

Françoise Hardy, what a pretty woman. : Oops:

Breast implants were not in fashion...

Remundo likes small balconies? :P 8) long live “A” cups : Mrgreen:

Showbiz at the time was complete rubbish, but that's not all... They went to the USA, copied what was being done there and came back with French versions of "hits"... and among these plagiarists , one of the best known producers in this circus was Eddie Barclay (born Édouard Ruault, so intoxicated by American culture that he gave himself an English nickname). The success of these producers was not so much due to the artistic quality of those they had under their leadership, but above all to the important network of relationships to discover new talents (and to the flair for knowing what they could well to the French people to amuse the masses Parisian show business network and others (Côte d'Azur and spots that the Jet Set frequented, like Saint-Tropez) Eddie Barclay had become “friends” with the most important music broadcasters from Paris, including Bruno Coquatrix (artistic director of the Olympia, temple of popular music of the time) Lucien Morisse, Maritie and Gilbert Carpentier producers of TV shows, and so on and the best, with Philippe Bouvard as press officer, the picture was almost complete. Then Barclay found the trick by becoming essential since he had created his own record label.

In enlightened artistic circles, it was said that they had the mission of “forming people's bad taste”. In fact, they did not need musicians/singers who were too talented, for whom they would have had to pay dearly and who would have been much more difficult “to control”… There were, however, big exceptions (see below) because he had also links with the greatest and truest (knowledgeable dosage) like this monument of the American phonographic industry which is Quincy Jones... and whom he hired in his early days as arranger and artistic director. So, even if you want to produce soup, surround yourself with the greatest : Mrgreen:

He still produced two or three handfuls of great and authentic ones, such as: Henri Salvador, Jacques Brel, Juliette Gréco, Léo Ferré, Jean Ferrat, Daniel Balavoine, Claude Nougaro, Maxime Le Forestier, Gilbert Montagné, Khaled, Björk, Diane Dufresne, Darry Cowl, Thierry Le Luron or Robert Charlebois and of course Serge Gainsbourg, I must forget quite a few... like Fernand Raynaud one of its first shareholders with Juliette Gréco.

Be careful when you upload your texts to Wikipedia to make yourself laugh when you don't understand anything about the French variety (obviously). You make big mistakes (spelling, verbal agreements, implementation, and even on the substance*...) by not being attentive enough.

°
In 1962, he (Barclay, editor’s note) was one of the founding shareholders of Minute. At that time, the newspaper, founded by Jean-François Devay, medalist of the Resistance, “was more focused on “people” news, […], and was also in line with the satirical newspapers” of the moment. . He (Minute, editor’s note) is among his first shareholders personalities like Françoise Sagan, Juliette Gréco, Fernand Raynaud, Alain Griotteray or even Marcel Dassault.

You're welcome, the forger. : Wink:

Yes, we can criticize Françoise Hardy for being a little flat, but she has a general beauty for my taste. She is thin, slender, a beautiful face, etc...

There are also beautiful women with curves.

Well, in short, we're a bit HS. : Lol:

:D Ah but I also like “A” cups : Oops: but people's personality and attitude is everything.

A human is never ugly with a beautiful personality and beautiful/good attitudes.
The forces of the spirit transfigure people!

We can extend this to the arts and “the search for beauty”… There is the attitude but also the good intentions. And a healthy, happy mind can often determine good health.
