A decisive thing is the position of the switches.
Very often they are on the 12V and not on the 220V. The transformer remains powered continuously.
I modified 2 products (one from Lee Roy and the other Swedish) by plugging the transformer onto a 2 strand electrical cord and connecting this to a switch. In the end when I cut the light, I cut the transformer and it turns off.
Do not forget to cut the transformers so ...

Oh good point. Good vacuum consumption should not be important but all the same: it's for nothing.

Personally I put the switch on the 230V.
I do not see why the switch is on the original 12V.

Ah can be for the water?

Naan not for water.

They had put a rotational switch crap like product to 0,01 € in PRC : Evil: which should not be able to support the 220V.

I allow myself a question all stupid.
As I have a little time before thinking about lighting, I guess I'm already going to mumuse with some LEDs to see and do a little hand and brain in my case : Cheesy:

With all the laptop chargers hanging around at home, then I reuse them to power leds mount?
(ex: under the eyes I have a charger Samsung: 5V continues for 0.7A)

Thank you

Not stupid! For that matter :D another question to a passing electronics technician, the LEDs, do they support a dimmer? I tried with a spot 18 LEDs 220V standard base ... bein it works po :| pkoi? : Mrgreen:

: Arrow: I'm not an electronics technician but when you say "not working" I guess you mean it's always full ...
:?:
Most current drives are current choppers or circuits
PWM (Pulse Wide Modulator)
or in French
MLI (Pulse Width Modulator)

Clearly these circuits send the current for a while and then cut it.

In the case of a use of a circuit intended for incandescent bulbs of 40 to 100W, the "variator" (dimmer) modulates the current to provide from 10W to 100W (estimate).
because in the 10W desires an incandescent bulb will not light up ...
So if you stick on an LED bulb that consumes less than 10W, the dimmer will work in all or nothing (on / off).
:?
One could very well imagine dimming dimmers from 0 to 100% of LED power, for example by changing the time base of the chopper.

Thank you very much for the answer ... Rhôoo bein yes but it is of course! How had I not thought of it? In fact I adapted a halogen lamp (220V) with dimmer by putting a normal base to insert my LED spotlight. Effectively this makes ON / OFF or more exactly OFF goes into standby with a very slight veil of light that persists and suddenly it goes suddenly to "ON".

LED bulbs new generations

by info2d3d » 21/09/09, 00:54

Re Christophe and hello everyone;)

I'll be back with you after a busy recovery on the job :|

Do not hesitate to contact me if you are still interested in 3D development of some products.

I must be able to develop without you send me the objects, just two three photos of the object from different angles, I could even add the name of the shop on (pub requires);)

Keep me informed !!

At work, I saw that there was now an electronic card with a lseulle ed that had a great power to illuminate cells on a big ibm printer.
It replaces a previous halogen lamp, the projector casement easily balances 10 m in daylight, but concentrate.

There seems to be only one led.
Do you know it is this type of led?

I see that there are now projectors for classroom (connected to PC / ex videoprojector) led.

Sacred progress!
For the longevity of the bulb and the under consumption.
Also, less heat, and a passive heatsink, replaces the old fan.
On the case / card, there is just marked 1,5W, and it is a US mark
