For a large structure, like a hotel, MOIJE (it's been a long time) thinks it can be interesting. For an individual, it is not obvious.

I would be more for a shower recuperator that recycles your water, for YOUR SHOWER, and only use 3-5l of water in total....

My dishwasher is on hot water....

No, the low thermal conductivity of anything plastics, resins, etc... would completely defeat the purpose. You would need a metal tank.
