Zoonoses: after Covid-19, leptospirosis!

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

Which needle for pebbles? : Mrgreen:
no more needles, let's go to sprays!
For the anecdote, Dr 'Homeo Broussalian quickly treated cholera patients in Haiti with a spay too: would he be emulated?

Because we are not sure that covid19 is a zoonosis ...

It is the man who transmitted his flu to the pig in 1918, it is normal that in return, it could infect us, although this is very rare (Taubenberger JK, Morens DM, “1918 Influenza: the mother of all pandemics') and caused (therefore in return) thereafter very few deaths in humans ... the problem is that thanks to this, the virus has another medium to mutate, but if not, go around ... another scarecrow.

Lobster killed me!
Cyanobacteria, also called blue algae, are bacteria that occur naturally in surface water. This is to see if there is a link between them and the neurological disease, says Dr. Neil Cashman, professor at the faculty of medicine at the University of British Columbia, who is participating in the investigation into this. sickness.

Researchers are also looking at domoic acid, a biomarin toxin that can build up in shellfish and has been linked to neurodegenerative cases in Prince Edward Island. In the 1980's.

Long live pollution !!!
Domoic acid is a phycotoxin that causes amnesic shellfish poisoning, a type of food poisoning. It is an amino acid that is found in association with certain episodes of algal bloom.

An algal bloom (sometimes described with an English algal bloom or phytoplankton bloom) is a relatively rapid increase in the concentration of one (or more) species (s) of algae (or bacteria, cyanobacteria, formerly called "blue algae"), generally belonging to phytoplankton, in a fresh, brackish or salt water aquatic system. This proliferation generally results in a coloration of the water (red, brown, brown-yellow or green). These colors are due to the dominant photosynthetic pigments of the algal cells involved.

The phenomenon can be natural1 or favored by terrigenous pollution (nitrates, phosphates)

In these cases it is not a zoonosis.

Indeed, it is poisoning or rather an intoxication.
