This area, where the doses of radioactivity still exceed 50 mSv / year, was reduced to 350 km2 in 2018. If humans have not set foot around Fukushima for 10 years, wild animals have remained. A recent study looked at them and the potential DNA damage and stress of chronic radiation exposure. Scientists from the University of Colorado, Georgia and Fukushima have taken samples from two species: Japanese wild boars and elaphes, snakes close to snakes.
According to them, the doses of radiation to which the animals were exposed did not endanger their health. The researchers did not observe an increased frequency of DNA damage and abnormal chromosomes in wild boars. Telomere length and cortisol levels, signs of stress, were also normal in the boars and snakes analyzed. “It's similar to what was observed at Chernobyl. The animals thrive mainly because there are no humans and they no longer undergo the resulting stress, ”concludes Kelly Cunningham, veterinarian and first author of the study. https://www.futura-sciences.com/planete ... ivite-5325

Re: Fukushima 10 years after the disaster
As in Chernobyl, humans are more harmful to animals than radioactivity

He does not mess around: he is content to take the official data transmitted by UNSCEAR (to read in https://www.lepoint.fr/monde/zero-mort- ... 139_24.php).

What do you think Poutine works for.... With love and fresh water... With beautiful humanist thoughts.... Just the fact that he sends brave guys full of good intentions in love parade floats, getting killed at his naughty Nazi neighbors without even shedding a tear...

The only thing safe in the future. It is that there may chance that it conforms to our expectations ...

Are you sure?
Putin does this fratricidal war reluctantly because the West (finally especially the USA) and the behavior of certain Ukrainians genociding Russian speakers did not leave him the choice... is it so hard to understand?
The losses of civilians are less important than those of the military... We had not seen that since the 1st World War!
Proof that the Russians best preserve the lives of civilians! Despite our nauseating propaganda!
