You're vegan, Janic, if I understand correctly. Why not, it's a personal choice, I respect it.
But I guess that doesn't stop you from eating:
-cereals in various prepared forms, bread or other (wheat or other), rice, other cereals, all this cooked of course.
- or legumes (lentils, dried beans, broad beans, etc.), also cooked.
This poor woman swore only by raw, and even by raw fruit.
Well, she obviously died...

in principle I do not go on these faces of goat, nor others. This forum Is more than enough for me to exchange in a particular field.
You're vegan, Janic, if I understand correctly. Why not, it's a personal choice, I respect it.
But I guess that doesn't stop you from eating:
etc...eating behaviors are multiple and limiting them to one culture is not a reference in itself.
Being vegan is a choice and consists of eating only plants, the form as raw or cooked is also part of the culture, but does not make it a particular reference. In this area it is the experience, the feeling which guides in these choices which can be good or bad, each one assumes his choices and only the practice (as for sports) makes it possible to measure the effects.
That said, for having discussed with vegans about their forum internet, apart from their refusal of anything that comes from animals, for everything else, they (for the most part) give a damn about having a healthy lifestyle. They smoke, drink, take drugs legally or not, get vaccinated to stay "social" among young people their age (their average age is low) and few have any knowledge of nutrition and lifestyle.
What poses a problem for them is the brutal passage from one to the other solely by "ethical" ideology. Brutally eating raw is generally poorly tolerated because the digestive system of most humans is no longer used to it. But gradually, the time that this system recovers, does not pose any problem as for all VG animals in nature which do not eat cooked.

Who would've believed that....

But let's relate it

This woman was:
-a woman; therefore a human having logically higher protective survival instincts than a man
- 38 years old; therefore having already made a long learning of the life of its risks, how to prevent it.......
- Russian; so you will all already agree that the base is endowed (according to the anthropologists of this site) with an intelligence above the average
- vegetarian, there we hit the top of the basket
- raw food, sorry for the can... It's not the top of the basket anymore... It's the pinnacle of the pinnacle...

Now apply these criteria to a woman living in the same conditions 500 years ago...

Well, his intelligence allowed him to live at least 15 years longer than his ancestors. : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy:

Good Sunday : Cheesy:

I was not talking about the difficulty or not of digesting "raw", which can indeed vary greatly depending on the individual, but more simply about the consumption of foods that are sufficiently varied so that overall the intake of different elements is relatively balanced.
Which cannot be the case if we eat only raw fruit, as this woman seemed to do.

And here I am only talking about an adult whose needs are basically stabilized, for a child or a teenager it is of course different.
