Ah it becomes clearer! Well ! It is the first time that I see a thickness recommended for ... summer!
Interesting to see that it is superior in most cases to that of winter. The thickness of the mineral wool makes me think of a monstrous scam from the manufacturers!
But the table is more up to date it is necessary to increase the values to obtain the current standards (for the lost roofs R of 6 = 0.25).
Comparative Table of insulation

No Christophe, you're wrong, we're not talking about R here, we're talking about thickness for winter and summer comfort. R should not really be taken for pure thermal value. Of course for the table we calculated the winter thickness as a function of the thermal conductivity, and therefore of the R, but it is a question of comfort, and not of the best way of insulating to consume as little as possible. And that has nothing to do with thermal regulations, it's just an estimate.
In addition the R does not change anything in summer comfort, the proof is stones which offer the best summer comfort but the worst insulation for winter ... yet they are comfortable, even in winter. .
What is to remember is that the board informs of the minimum to install if you are looking for acceptable comfort. if you want more comfort do not hesitate to put more, it is even advised !!!

If a butterfly can create a hurricane, imagine the human effect !!!
This is the big advantage of cotton wool (dixit jp.oliva) over glass wool.
The phase shift! 10h for wadding, 2h for ldv.
I put 30 cm of cotton wool. it's all good for winter, I'm waiting for summer to check the phase shift.
I love cotton wool !!
Bmag.
The more wadding you have, the less watts you need!
This is the slogan of the day.
