Yes, if it is a greenpeace campaign.

Personally, I who am not a fan at all (to be polite) of their punch methods, it seemed rather more subtle and clever than what they usually do.

About electrabel, does anyone know where we can find the program questions on the front page of the rtbf this Wednesday 01/11/2007. It was devoted to the liberalization of the electricity market in Belgium, as well as the links between Electrabel and the political powers. 8)

(agreements between the Belgian government and Suez, where we learn that it is Suez which paid for the policy of "fuel oil checks" of the Belgian state in 2006, in exchange for substantial returns) : Evil: : Evil:

I had heard a lot about the documentary "EDF les apprentis sorciers" by Gilles Ballastre, which I saw but disappointed me a little, I find that this Wednesday show goes much further, well the second part in any case , I only saw that.

On the show's blog, they provide the most requested shows, it will take a little more patience, unless someone has recorded it. : Mrgreen:

Greenpeace forgets to mention the 100% wood power plant at Les Awirs which is an old coal power plant converted to pellets.

It was in November 2005. Electrabel inaugurated the conversion of a unit at the Awirs power plant in Seraing. From now on, the Awirs-4 unit no longer burns coal but biomass in the form of pellets from sustainably managed forests. According to the ASBL Forêt wallonne (1), it is the first major biomass power plant in Europe (80 MW). Every day, around 1200 tonnes of wood pellets arrive via the Meuse, mainly from Canada and Poland, to supply the unit's boiler (2). They are stored, crushed, then the dust obtained is burned. The steam produced then turns an electricity generating turbine. The second unit of the Awirs power plant operates on oil and natural gas…

We can indeed wonder about the choice of pellets ... the most expensive wood energy ...
