what I said about Glücksmann Raphaël is exact and verifiable.

I could talk to you about the father, André, on occasion... but hey, you can't blame a son for having his father... : roll:

I maintain that there is a legal text called “Dry law” which prohibits the consumption of alcohol in the army (Martial law?)
There was a whole study during the two world wars, at the end of which they concluded that it was better to ban it.
That doesn't mean there aren't serious drinking problems.
Because out of service the recruits do what they want.

Due to the mobilization, a curfew is imposed in the Transbaikal region in Russia

Due to the excessive alcohol consumption of those mobilized, the dry law is already introduced in some places in Russia.

Authorities have imposed a curfew in several towns and districts in Russia's Transbaikal region, explaining the measure as a situation of "partial mobilization", officials said on Friday.

The ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages was introduced in the cities of Gornia and Borzja, as well as in the regional capital district Chita Peschanka, in accordance with the decision of the regional government.

The decision was taken as part of Russian President Vladimir Putin's "partial mobilization" order.

It is forbidden to sell alcoholic beverages within a radius of 300 meters around military stations in all municipalities of the Aizbaikal region. The exception is only for public eating places and duty-free shops.

The government order has no expiry date. It is set for the mobilization period announced by Putin, and it also has no end date.

Opinion: And anyway, as it is very unlikely that a war reporter walks around with a steadicam, it smells like can... at full nose.

Ps: Yes we do travelings with a steadicam, no more need for rails or trolley. : Mrgreen:

Interesting, so maybe a true-false and/or a false-true bogus! : Shock:
Michael Clarke, a professor in the Department of War Studies, King's College London, told Newsweek the footage looked "suspicious".

He said Ukraine has taken significant steps to ensure Russian soldiers know how to get there.

"The Ukrainians have been adept at conveying their messages of surrender to the enemy. They promise a lot of money if someone or a crew brings an armored vehicle with them, plus anonymity as a POW (the money that awaits them after the war) and a new life for a few years outside Russia,” he said.

"They are very specific to individuals regarding: surrender (detaching magazine from rifle, rifle slung over left shoulder, pointing downward, hand up holding white paper or rag), treatment appropriated prisoners of war, etc.

“In addition, it has been known for some weeks that Russian forces in Kherson Oblast have been discussing local surrenders with Ukrainian forces, as their ammunition, among other supplies, is running out,” he said.

"So pre-arranged surrenders seem to be happening in a number of different places. The clip matches what we know is happening, and as a pre-arranged surrender, it makes sense that the Ukrainians have an angle decent camera on it.

"But it still seems a little too well put together to be 100% authentic. The work of the Ukrainian soldiers surrounding the crew resembles classic training area behavior."

Newsweek contacted the Russian and Ukrainian foreign ministries for comment.

I don't even see why this thing is causing such controversy... It's not as if it was their first "arrangement" and video manipulation for Ukrainians...

Don't you remember the video montage of bombarded Paris?
