I heard 75% for my part ... from the government.

[Do not forget that the Senate - it is a proposal of the Senators - is on the right, therefore more bigot - cf Retailleau, of LR - and does not miss one to annoy Macron. So they offer the maximum!]

Both are, for me, a total lack of seriousness. "Legal Laundering of Tax Evasion" I wrote above.

In this case, the government's proposal is limited to € 1, and is aimed at families. I think Bercy "framed" the debate on the government side and put a dose of realism!

As I said on facebook: 100 Millions of "donations" tax-exempt at 90% (or even 75%) is more a communication operation (see a tax operation) than a real donation!

It is still surprising that these pledges were made public even before the last flames were not yet extinguished (and I'm not talking about the embers which can take weeks to die out ...) : Shock:

Less funny than that of Gegyx but it concerns many more people ...

Ubisoft had modeled in 2014 in a very impressive way Notre Dame in Assassin's Creed Unity, in video it gives:

Even Fox News talks about it given the news:

I played it and it seems to me that virtual modeling is not strictly to scale ... the virtual version seems larger than real (scale at 133% or even 150%?) ... specialists can decide!

This clearly shows what the intention was: to ride the wave of emotion and sympathy, with image communication ["Look how generous I am, look how attached I am to France and its history, see good people ... !!!!]

Any realistic entrepreneur who really wanted to help would have acted in a logical and consistent manner:

a) wait for the situation to be assessed

b) wait until there is a project, with a budget to finance

c) offer assistance to the client based on this project ...

But that day, it will not move anyone!

A very sad "synchronistic" event that this fire of Notre Dame de Paris.
The collapse of part of the cathedral is a curious wink of history to be compared with the collapse of France.
The reconstruction should last around 15 years, which curiously corresponds to the period of crisis that we have to go through, and the worst is before us ... : roll:

PS: It seems to me necessary to quickly launch a counter petition aiming to prohibit the unmistakable architectural delusions advocated by certain firms, like that of an ignoble glass frame in place of the traditional wooden frame ... :frown:
Notre Dame must be rebuilt in the old style.

PS2: It is also stupid to send donations to the reconstruction of Notre Dame, there will quickly be 1 billion euros on the balance, which is very, very necessary.
Yet at the same time, many chapels, the spearhead of our terroir heritage are dying in silence and general oblivion ...

To rebuild it is to continue the destructive pattern of collapse. On the contrary, it is necessary to devote this money to the end of the crisis and I also know that it is a pious wish that will never be achieved. Man has always preferred prestige to utility and that is what will end up losing us.
Just in this cathedral case, how many thinks like me? : Cry:
