Mounting your wind turbine alone is possible: example of 10 kW!

Mounting your wind turbine alone is possible: example of 10 kW!

Hello everyone

I have created a blog or I explain how to mount your wind turbine alone without going through a dealer.

you will find all the info you need to get started on this adventure.

The cow!! It's not a small wind turbine!

How to go beyond the design office for connection to the network?

indeed, not a small player!

it is on battery, not connected to the network.

I just have one between EDF on my inverter in case the batteries are empty or no wind.
that's it ki is fine with a dual source inverter.

the mast is 3 x 4.00 meters and 1300 kgs on its own!

I made big because I see no interest in having a wind turbine of less than 5 kw, except just to recharge the battery of my cell phone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! considering the little power they deliver at 5 m / s.

you need a wind turbine capable of providing 250 v, the one that outputs 24,48 ca is useless ........... except to listen to you money.

my goal is to be independent (while remaining connected to the network in case) so I needed a 10 kw.

a + and thank you for reacting.

Uh 10kW stored in battery? How many kWh of capacity do you have?

Have you recovered the batteries from an Uboot? http://www.uboat.net/boats.htm

What about the neighbors and the building permit? Wasn't that too bad?

It's marked on his site, Christophe: up to 12m, no building permit : Mrgreen:

Uh ... is it less than 12 m? Damn I would not have believed seen the photos ...

Mea culpa I haven't read everything :)

Sacred initiative! great achievement, I would like to see the photos of the assembly of the upper elements :D

So by contacting my Chinese manufacturer I managed to have:

- 1 10kw wind turbine

- 1 dual source inverter

-1 controller

-40 12V / 200AH deep cycle batteries

-150 meters of cables

- 3-part conical mast of 12 meters

Delivered at home for 15 euros including tax.

Count 32 euros for the same thing if you buy in France!

+ installation I guess

If you live in a windy region, it's certainly interesting

and how long do you plan to recoup the investment?

yes, it does well - 12 meters, 11.80 meters high above the nacelle, so no declaration of work or PDC.

the neighbors are all impatient to see it spinning ....... so cool!

for profitability it is about 6 to 7 years for me.

for the batteries I bought them directly from the manufacturer of the wind turbine.

Thank you all for your responses .
