Exactly, with the interest of comparing the influence of the pellets: for the same power, one should have, on the same wheel, the same factor of proportionality. The differences measured will give us an idea of the influence of the variability of the pellets ...

Hi,

Absolutely, this is what I have in Lorraine for roughly the same area, and even now, it's too ..
But good in winter -10 ° ° or -15 it will.
For the pellet boilers, especially not oversize.
I even have the impression that after a double glazing, size below suffice.

Kind regards.

Hi,
I installed a counter Sigma BC 506 bought last week at Decathlon for less than 15 euros.
The magnets (I put 2 to have a direct reading of the number of kg over the counter) are placed on the output shaft of the engine that has already tapped hole, this is provocation : Cheesy: . I have clipped onto the copper wire stripped 2,5 mm².
For setting the sensor, I have an advantage. I have a PES but safe from my silo is not yet built (I hastened because of the reduction of the tax credit), so I fill my hopper with pellets bag 15 kg (Crépito ). So it's easy for me to know my real consumption : Cheesy:
The resulting setup resulting from my configuration is to 3650mm. My counter and shows me the value directly in kg with an accuracy of 10 grams. The partial counter displays 999,99 kg (1 ton) and total 99999kg (either 100 tonnes).

Consumption since first commissioning the November 4: 1087,72 kg precisely : Mrgreen:

Philippe.

@phil35

a small photo montage of magnets and sensor?

like a picture of my setup: tin can lid in the shaft; magnet stuck above and sensor on one foot aluminum. (with wooden block to the thickness :P )

Hi Dirk Pitt,
I tried to put one but I did not have the patience to wait for the download of the image with this site.
So I make a little effort;
Image
We do not see very well my sensor, it is taped on an aluminum leg taken under an existing nut of the frame of the gears. The aluminum leg is thin (1mm) and the copper wire (2,5 mm²) is malleable which allows a magnet / sensor gap to small onions. Besides, the thread is in one piece.

I particularly like to have a direct reading of my consumption and more next winter when I am on the silo. I'm already accurate to within 1% error but we will check it with puffed pellet next winter.
I'm not sure that all meters allow circumference setting up 3999mm like mine, what can be circumvented by adding a third magnet.

Otherwise, it's off topic here, but I think I have a malfunction of my analogue room thermostat OKOFEN (the boiboite with a wheel and a position switch 4). The boiler does not even react to the action on the switch. My heating still know less than me on the subject (he had incorrectly wired, had his first) .Quelqu'un here it done that about him before I contact a guru OKOFEN?

Goods.
Philippe.

Hello,

A small up regarding this.

Last year, I put a counter on my 906 sigma OKOFEN 25Kw.
With a wheel diameter of 3.000 he gave me 8750 8000 kg provided. So I reduced the diameter 2.752.

Thank you to you for giving me this idea meter, This is too much ...

The opportunity to say: attention to the batteries!

Mine dropped me in the middle of winter. I had not noticed the counters, etc .... She was in her 3ème year.

Considering the price of the batteries, I suggest you:

- Change the batteries after 2 winters
- read before your meter (total, etc ...) and the proportionality factor ("wheel diameter")
- on my model, when the battery is replaced, we can enter these data for example to keep the "total mileage" ....

There I lost everything. I start again after the next delivery.

Congratulations on this idea counter !!! But tell me, for the axis with copper wire, how you put distance between 2 magnets? (Actual diameter) ?? because when you talk about 3.000 or 3650 is setting on the meter ?? that's it ?
please
