fields cannot exceed the following limit values to avoid these effects:
 For the electric field, the limit is 5 kilovolts per meter (5000 V / m or 5 kV / m);

Since our cells and neurons have cell membrane tensions of around 0,1V, it only takes a few tenths of Volts to disturb them and even trigger an involuntary nervous contraction of us or of frog muscles, as discovered around 1781 by Galvani on his iron balcony, which led Volta to discover his electric battery in 1800! !
So 5000 V / m or 5 kV / m is huge, if by bad luck this maximum voltage allowed under a 400kV EDF line ends up in one of our cells !!
Our conductive body full of water is fairly good conductor of electricity and plays the role of Faraday cage to reduce this enormous tension of thousands of volts in our body by 1m70, by inducing currents 50 times per second in our skin, not negligible over a depth of a few cm, and if not lucky (wet skin, and a short dry portion which undergoes these thousands of Volts !!) biological effects remain in our cells subjected to more than 0,1V, at least slowly long-term.

5000 V / m or 5 kV / m is just allowed to be able to pass 10m above people and houses lines at 5000 V / m * 10m = 50kV and 400kV lines at 20 m above (using the fact that the opposite voltages of three-phase wires cancel out faster as the square of the distance) !!
Fact this limit is set to allow the installation of these 400kV lines with little rapid effect on people who seemingly survive, like people treated with DDT or Lindane, or other pesticides against lice, survive, without ever being able to prove that their cancers are due to this, but the cows below with their 4 legs well spaced on the ground resist less well than the men !!
Also the fluorescent tubes light up under the high voltage lines, and our body gives a false impression of resisting !!

So logically it is better to avoid living under high voltage lines and in all conditions where we risk finding voltages of more than 0,1V on a part of our cells if no luck !!

GSM portable microwave waves and relay antennas with max 60V / m allows to find by induction in our brain (60V / m on the circumference of our brain) voltages much higher than 0,1V in a neuron membrane, if no luck, by antenna effect, which puts all the tension in a single neuron by rectifying it in a membrane !!

We are very presumptuous to believe that life is unable to do what we do in our cell phones and antennas, while constantly we find that life is much more complex and subtle than what we are capable of, such as photosynthesis giving sugar and energy, detection of a single molecule for odors, low chemistry temperature much more complex than what we know how to do !!

For example Volta invented its battery, drawing inspiration from the morphology of eel or electric torpedo fish, which invented the electric battery millions of years long before Volta !!!

Our technology has always gone dark, neglecting dangers until people die, even fluorescent x-ray lamps (instead of UV) were sold with very good efficiency 80% killing people very quickly and when it is not very visible, it takes a century to admit the reality of the dead and prohibit, whereas simple common sense should have convinced of the danger, as a few asbestos fibers per liter of air are dangerous, ( excess paranos idea ) simply because each nanofiber is a dagger piercing our cells, which ends up killing us decades later, with prohibition a century after full of deaths hidden by lies !!

The level of portable and relay GSM waves are at a level that is far too high, common sense proves it and there are many scientific facts, but they are refused by pure lobbies, as for asbestos, and all the dirt, pesticides, Roundup, poisons in low doses, etc. which poison us, make us obese, then sick !!

Hello,
simplino wrote:with a little mounting with reflective walls (case of a microwave oven) an unfortunate Watt GSM (even less) can be enough to burn a grain of corn but in pop corn !!
  • The process of expanding the corn kernel needs high power in a very short time to operate, otherwise the steam will escape slowly and the expansion will not take place.
  • A Gsm can emit a maximum of 0.25 W efficient (power transformable into heat).
  • The magnetron is a directional transmitter, not the mobile phone.
  • The microwave walls are above all a faraday cage, the mobile phone will not go into transmission for lack of network.
Too many impossibilities to be a reality.

The term vicious is already to be defined and the rest to be demonstrated.
simplino wrote:Scientific pseudonyms have always had certainties long before knowing enough about the hidden dangers, which have caused hundreds of thousands of deaths, before ban, sometimes a century later as with asbestos !!
the dangers of asbestos were clearly identified in the 1890s, it would take almost a century to ban it, the 1980s. The discovery came from scientists and the concealment of political and economic authorities.
Another amalgam : Shock:

Probably due to lack of knowledge and precautions at the start of operation. We did not realize that all the emitted power was concentrated in a direction like the laser, but invisible. So microwave effect for the idiot who stayed planted in front during the tests, with internal burns without necessarily feeling it on the surface of the skin, or too late.

No relation, electric field on one side, application of an electric current on nerve cells connected to muscles on the other.

I stop there because it continues in paranoia absolutely not justified and unrelated to the subject.

No no no don't drown the fish! It's not the thermal effect I'm talking about! : Cry:

I'm talking about cancers, tumors, metastases ... years later !!
All this is very different from possible internal burns!

Biological effects of electromagnetic fields

The biological effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) range from the stimulation of excitable tissues (nervous system and muscles) for the lowest frequencies, to the heating of the tissues for higher frequencies.

The biological phenomena generated by EMF depend on the interaction between waves and matter at the frequency considered.
Some effects are well established:

up to the frequency of 100 kHz, EMFs induce currents that can stimulate excitable tissues (nervous system and muscles),
above 10 MHz, EMF induces heating in the tissues (thermal effect, by orientation of the water molecules),
between 100 kHz and 10 MHz, the two phenomena coexist.

Other possible effects of EMF are still the subject of scientific debate such as the genotoxicity, the risk of cancer, effects on cell multiplication, changes in the permeability of the blood-brain barrier, enzymatic and hormonal disturbances.

Extremely low frequency fields and cancers

Extremely low frequency EMF (induced by power lines, electric transformers, railways, lamps, household appliances, computers, etc.) have been classified as possible human carcinogens by IARC (group 2B).

Studies show a statistically significant link between childhood leukemia and residential exposure to magnetic fields greater than 0,2 to 0,4 µT. To date, however, there is no biological effect to explain this link.

In 2002, the IARC classified the extremely low frequency fields, CEM-EBF (50-60 Hz), possible carcinogens (group 2B), due to concordant epidemiological observations clearly identifying the association of a greater number of cases of childhood leukemia with these magnetic fields in the environment of children. However, the biological mechanisms of action and the causal links have not been demonstrated so far.

In its March 2010 report, Afsset (now ANSES) takes stock of knowledge of CEM-EBF exposure and its health effects. The agency also reviews the exposure of populations, limit values, regulations and the social concerns raised by these fields. The range of fields considered goes up to a few thousand hertz: there are magnetic fields relating to the transport and distribution of electricity (different high voltage lines, hydraulic dam evacuation, city power, transport networks, etc.), household appliances (around 50 Hz) and numbers of electromagnetic energy sources present in particular in the workplace (computer screens, welding equipment, transformers, ovens, etc.).

The Agency considers that although the sources of exposure to EMF-EBF are known, the resulting exposure is still insufficiently documented, although devices allow the individual exposure to different sources to be quantified in daily activities. To measure this exposure, for frequencies below 100 kHz, we use electric current induction (we measure the intensity of the current induced in the tissues, in Amperes / m²). Regarding health effects, those in the short term are known and we know how to protect ourselves by applying an exposure limit value (100µT for 50Hz). A reservation is however made about hypersensitivity for which the current data do not allow establishing a cause and effect relationship. (...)

Genotoxicity on Wiki: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%A9notoxique

A substance (synthetic chemical or naturally occurring genotoxic agent) or radiation is said to be genotoxic when it can compromise the physical (chromosomal break) or functional integrity of the genome.

So sorry but if there is one area where we must currently take a precautionary principle it is that of the waves! In the same way as GMOs, bioinformatics ... etc in short everything that touches "living things"!

There is moreover a huge paradox between the fear of nuclear power (by and large 100% of the population) ... and the massive use of electromagnetic waves by this same pollution ... This is what I call: the paradox of assumed risk (unconscious or not) or paradox of the collective risk which one does not assume and the 'individual risk which one completely assumes ...

I downloaded "Mobile phones, all guinea pigs?" on Dailymotion: https://www.econologie.com/telechargemen ... s-cobayes/

It was the very first mainstream documentary on the subject!

Everyone will therefore have their own opinion ...

Someone said above (it is not very clear who? A text partially taken from the web?) This:

So 5000 V / m or 5 kV / m is huge, if by bad luck this maximum voltage allowed under a 400kV EDF line ends up in one of our cells !!
Our body full of water is a fairly good conductor of electricity and plays the role of Faraday cage to reduce this enormous tension of thousands of volts in our body by 1 m, by inducing currents 70 times per second in our skin, not negligible over a depth of a few cm , and if not lucky, ( wet skin, and a short dry portion which undergoes these thousands of Volts !! ) biological effects remain in our cells subjected to more than 0,1V, at least slowly in the long term.

Assuming the fact that certain cells could be short-circuited in our body (by electromagnetic waves) because of the water it contains, or even simply electrocuted due to the humidity that would be on its surface (we are made with> 70% water) That is true. But contrary to popular belief (and if I am not mistaken), it is not the water which conducts electricity but what it contains (mineral charge, impurities, salts, etc.) ... If someone took a bath with non-mineralized water and suddenly an electric current comes into contact with the water, he would not be electrocuted (there are many cases where people did not die ...). Moreover, pure water (totally pure) can even be considered as an "insulator", because it has a good electrical resistivity which is expressed in Ω x m. i.e. 1,8x105 glass is of course better 1017

But we must continue to be wary of undistilled water, which is potentially conductive: and which then becomes a deadly danger.

PS: From there, to determine the dangerousness of electromagnetic waves on the human body, we have to go through the Nernst equation (which indicates for a given pH, the state of oxidation or reduction of a solution) . This will therefore depend on the subject's acid / base balance: in a state of oxidative stress in the cells there will be loss of electrons (otherwise it will be the reverse). So the answer is: "it depends"as often in biochemistry ... But it is best not to drink mineral water *, which will scale up the body and therefore the electromganetic waves will then be more harmful (to see to what degree, but let's apply the precautionary principle ... let's drink weakly mineralized spring water ... because the minerals contained in the 'mineral water is mostly useless *, since they are not "bioavailable" they will be eliminated in the urine anyway ... even if the marketing has been very strong to make us believe and think the opposite : and sell us very, very expensive, water that we should rarely drink ...!)

* in general, and not just because of cell phone waves ...

There you distort my words :frown:
This is an area that I know well. I practiced a lot and repaired military radio equipment in the 70s, the last tube radios that fitted AMX tanks, the first portable transistors TRPP11 ...
I remember a wire antenna installed in the workshop. We lit fluorescent lamps with powerful transmitters. It happened to me a hf burn on the finger after having touched an antenna output not connected. Nothing really serious in fact, but it really hurt me instantly. Another time I was stuck on 600 volt DC. It was the hand that I could no longer open for a moment that made me jump back and tear off the mains plug.

It should be noted that this is in the case of levels well above the established standards.
