Well, I just did this test, this Monday, October 19, 2009 at 00:45 am in Friborg, Switzerland. Here are my results:
0.80 planets
My footprint per hectare:
Carbon: me 5.8, my country 12.4
Food: me 4.5, my country 9
Housing: me 1.0, my country 3.7
Goods and service: me 1.2, my country 4.4
TOTAL: me 12.5, my country 29.5
The share of my footprint per biome:
Crop footprint: 12%
Pasture footprint: 30%
Footprint of marine fisheries: 22%
Forest footprint: 36%
0.8 planet! well then, say it ! I didn't think I would do as well. When I think of everything I can still improve.

If everyone on the planet lived like me, we would need: 1.70 planet (s) Earth
Okay, ok, my annual 25000km in fuel oil drags down my result.
And I don't have my straw house or my garden yet ^^ so I would only get better.

When we work, we must always give 100%: 12% on Monday; 25% Tuesday; 32% Wednesday; 23% on Thursday; and 8% on Friday

Indeed, the emergence of poor countries will pull us down, and not only a little, moreover the phenomenon is already largely underway ... The only possible correction is the global limitation of the birth rate to bring back in the medium term the world population at an acceptable level compatible with a modern global and "reasonable" life (not the American "model"!), and unfortunately that would require an authoritarian regulation (see China), see eugenics (prohibition of reproduction for people with serious genetic deficits), to compensate for the disappearance of natural selection in humans ... I can all the more evoke it as I apply it to myself ...
