Re: CO2 ppm, sun and climate variability
This long curve is made up of countless fluctuations. Extrapolating the future over 200 years from a 20-year jolt and a transitory correlation is madness to me. But to each his own religion DrBombay.

My preference : climate variability.
Re: CO2 ppm, sun and climate variability
Like the temporary, the transient sometimes lasts a long time.
CO2 emissions have only been increasing transiently for 200 years, and there is no objective reason to think that this will stop.
The source of all your doubts
“Oil, an all-powerful lobby”

Re: CO2 ppm, sun and climate variability
This topic is about natural climate variability, not IPCC speculation. Doubting the relevance of the IPCC's arguments only leads to censorship (
; Vincent Courtillot). There are other topics to spread the breviary on anthropogenic and the correlation with CO2, for example: climate-change-co2 / analysis-on-warming-climate-anthropogenic-t7605.html

Re: CO2 ppm, sun and climate variability
I'm not wide awake or I see CO2 et climate variability in the title?
Don't you want to blame climate change on the sun?

Re: CO2 ppm, sun and climate variability
It's true that I should have been more explicit in the title even if nature represents 99,999999% of climate history. Natural atmospheric CO2 represents 2/3 in the 21st century but this subject slips too often, I avoid, that of the title was added by the web master.
We only talk about anthropogenic everywhere and I try to limit my debate to the natural climate, to know this you have to read at least the 16 previous pages where the IPCC generics are already very present. For your information, the climate is unstable and cyclical, an increase follows a decrease; alarmism about speed depends on the methodology of the estimates, for Courtillot those of the IPCC are obsolete. For the sun, if a team of scientists says that the IPCC is talking bullshit, that deserves reflection. Welcome to the speculative!
Isentrop should know that I am not a fan of anthropics and even less of the gurus who want to persuade us that we are wrong as soon as we doubt the arguments of the IPCC.

Re: CO2 ppm, sun and climate variability
You cannot these days "limit your debate to the natural climate", given the speed at which we are rotting everything (not just the air) with OUR emissions and other discharges (organic, chemical, nuclear, solid, liquid, gaseous) . “Natural” needs time, just like dilution poisons.
