Reverse? must be an error because it concerns only small vehicles similar type Aygo, for others given the increasing complexity of systems, it makes the multiplexing almost indispensable or 10x would need more cabling ...
Multiplexing is practically generalized: how do you believe that TNT works? ...

The possibilities are huge, weight gain, price gain (number of cables) etc ... the only problem is that a car is out to rain hot and cold in an atmosphere always very clean with vibrations, accelerations, hydrocarbon vapors contacts that have oxidized ..... nothing to do with our living room quiet, air-conditioned, constant hygrometry etc .... It's always out of order because this technology is not yet ripe. :frown:

The first car multiplexed from 1980 was the BMW850 ...
For this to work properly, it is probably necessary to put the means ... : Mrgreen:

it is an aviation technology, it is very safe and reliable if built well with good components (not desmerdes coming from China!) : Cheesy: and there the extreme tees are there for you!

It is true that in aviation, they will put the time (validate the software), the means (redundancies of the computers) and the material that goes well (controls) to make the equipment reliable and, that they can certify their baggage with the DGAC official bodies etc ... Not comparable with the current policy of lower cost, for car manufacturers and therefore maximum cost for motorists. : Mrgreen:

A video of a Toyota Prius plug-in being tested in Japan:

http://www.toyota.co.jp (right click on the image of the Prius)

http://www.toyota.co.jp/jp/tech/environ ... index.html (click on download speed)

The charging time is from 3 to 4 hours from the (Japanese) sector of 100 volts. The range is 13 km. The maximum speed is 100 km / h.

No, 100 volts, I lived enough in Japan to find out ...
There is also the "Force", in 200 volts, generally for air conditioners. The country is also divided into 2 parts 50 hertz and 60 hertz!
The data sheet in Japanese gives a charging time of 1h to 1 h 30 on the sector in 200 volts. The top speed of the Prius Plug-in is 100 km / h.

Oula it does not look simple ... then there is 4 network in Japan?

100, 200 on 50 or 60Hz? The cow must not be fed by putting the plug : Mrgreen:

There is a network in 100 volts, another in 200 volts plus three-phase of course. It's not very different from home at one time. The southern part (Osaka, Nagoya) is in 60 Hz and the northern part (Tokyo, Sapporo) in 50 Hz. It does not pose much problem except using engines.
Where there is a problem is when you bring an electrical device 100 volts and it is connected here to the 230 volts via a 220 / 110 2 / 1 report. No problem said the electrician but very often it crame because the device is 115 volts and as the power grows as the square of the voltage ...
