I did not expect this fall:

A rather badly dressed man walks on the Champs-Élysées.

Suddenly, a Rolls-Royce stops at its level and the rear window is lowered.
He looks inside and recognizes a childhood friend.
The passenger also recognizes it, leaves the limousine and asks his driver to wait for him.

He takes his friend by the arm and offers to take a few steps together.
The man said to him: - I see you have done well in business.

- Yeah and you?
- I must say that it does not go very well.

During the walk, the rich friend is intrigued by a "click-clack" that is heard at each step that the other.

- What's this "click-clack"? he asks.
- The front of my shoes is off and I can not afford another pair.

The rich man takes out of his pocket a large bundle of 500 € bills surrounded by an elastic band.
He removes the rubber band, gives it to his friend and tells him:

- Here ! Put the elastic around your shoe, it will not do more 'click clack'
