Making an economic electric bike

I replaced the LCD in April because the old one had the display half broken on the speed and instantaneous consumption part.
3800kms in 144h gives 26,6km/h

The autonomy is so good that you could almost go down to the sea with it.

Izy is not going to be happy.
Back from the ride I have an average mileage of 26,7km/h.
Before I had 26,6km/h over 3800kms.
And I just drained the battery completely.
I hope he's bad at math to find the speed of the day
Yesterday I was overtaken by a BMW i8 hybrid, I couldn't struggle for long in the creeks of the Corniche d'Or, it must be said that going 50 km/h even in a sports car is daunting or full of sensations: miss it a bend is 20 meters deep or more

Still with the aim of making an economical electric bike, this evening I am going to look for a complete motorization kit for €100 on Leboncoin.
It's 27,5" front with battery integrated into the hub: unknown to the battalion.
Judging from the photo: the wheel has never seen a shoe brake and the tire looks new. Hopefully there is the disc option, it's easier to adapt otherwise sometimes you have to change the fork because of the positioning of the brake shoes

I have a lucky star. It was good on record.
On the other hand, mounting the bottom bracket sensor poses a problem on the left, the frame has a complicated technical shape.
I will put it later on the bottom bracket side which I need to replace.
It performs well in any case. There is no display so we estimate the speed
The only problem is that the Giant 26" fork has too much stress on the disc side when braking and it shakes if you brake hard: needs to be replaced.
I still need to install the Low Break brake sensor and the USB charging block for the phone.
The weight of the battery is under the front wheel axle. It's incredibly stable.
As it is an XT30 connection, it is easy to take an extra 36V battery in the backpack or attached to the water bottle holder

The Lotus Type 136 electric bike was officially presented by Lotus in London. The manufacturer has placed particular emphasis on aerodynamics and lightness, all at an extremely steep price of 25 euros.

Mine in carbon weighing 19,8 kg costs €25000 less. That’s €2500 per kilogram less

Otherwise, to stay more within the realm of reasonableness, I put the fork (RockShox by SRAM) of my DH Down Hill mountain bike (meaning all-aluminum, full-suspension downhill mountain bike) on carbon: no more shaking when braking...
And put the basic carbon fork on the DH MTB, a controller, a battery, a trigger and a 500W front motor. It's amazing how spicy it gets from steak. Budget 30€.
I will post photos when I return.
And I have a second carbon frame being assembled... To be continued

Yamaha (I think) just released one!

The problem with self-construction is the regulator: to my knowledge there is no kit with 2 independent outputs...so you would need 2 identical regulators with 1 gas handle (the 2nd as a backup) in //.

We could even have a "3 motor" bike: 2 on the wheels and 1 central on the crankset...
