We have just returned from a week's vacation in Corsica, and well in front of the "upscale" high school in Ajaccio, there were dozens of little assholes driving these dung (electric and thermal - inflated). Must believe that mom and dad rakent in the bassinet and / or that others take credits for a good time.

So the friend a "stew"?

A car where you have identical spare parts for the front and rear? a left door which is identical for the left and the right?

What thermal car without a license does that, and what thermal or VE does that?

All this to reduce costs ???? So differentiated manufacturing?

The friend, must take it for its intended use, in town, and peri-urban.

AN interesting price to ride sheltered from the rain in town. A low carbon footprint, for the use, VS the service it provides.

An EV only for driving in town? that would be insane, an ecological cost that is too heavy.

As Forhorse said, it seems to me, when you stop every 2 hours or so, how long does it take you, 1/4 H mini, and running! often it's closer to 25-30 minutes. More than enough to put back what is needed for the next charge.

I also remind you that the majority of French people rarely exceed 300 km of route, even for holidays.

So, if I wanted to take a tour of Europe, what thermal car is capable of doing so without a full tank, or a quarter tank?

It's stupid I know, but it's the same level you use, for people who are not used to doing long EV runs.

As for the terminals which deliver 250 kW, it does not pump 250 kW on the network, it recharges their "polluting" battery in much longer than that.

The other day, there's a guy who complained that he only had 6 minutes of charging time, to have enough to put back at the next terminal, and that it was too short.

So it's dumb ????

Do not assume that we refuel at each stop, often we do not exceed 80% too much, and even sometimes we stop well before.

But by the way, what is the difference in pollution between an EV and a thermal one, from its exit, to scrapping, recovery of materials?

It's about 20% for an EV compared to a thermal.

THE solution is not perfect, but it is no less good.

So the exceptions of trailers, caravans, etc, yes, but what percentage is it? 1 or 2% ????? see, no doubt, a lot less.

Not so long ago, some said, he wouldn't take an EV if he couldn't do 500 km.

500km? For what ? ************* for the majority how many will already do more than 500 km in 1 time?

And then the 500 km, we get there very quickly, BECAUSE of all the people who say that, and make the VE, a slightly less virtuous VE.

That said, the time will come much faster, when we will be a little less numerous on earth, and everyone will have a few solar panels....

EVs consume less and less, and will therefore need fewer batteries...

If not, have you looked for the Carver S?
Plus it looks fun to drive, just a pity for the top speed which is a little too tight (80km/h) not to have the 33 tons sticking to your ass...

A carver I think I saw one in a show in...like 2007-2008...The company was created in...1994! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carver_(automotive_company)

Never seen one on the road... Otherwise we have a topic on this kind of vehicles: new-transport / motorbikes and scooters-carenes-quasar-MonoTracer-ECOMOBILE-hubris-t15533.html
