I don't know the inspection rules in Germany, but I assume that the faulty Model 3s are at least 3 or 4 years old...and probably as many km as yours...

Information taken, it is every 3 years in Germany, this therefore concerns Model 3 which pass their first inspection since the Model 1 arrived on the market in 3/2020: https://www.francebleu.fr/emissions/la- ... ue-6420720

And that's not the only big difference, hold on tight (especially French bikers) because here are the vehicles subject to compulsory technical inspection for the Germans:

-- cars: every 3 years,

-- motorcycles: every 2 years,

-- taxis, rental vehicles: every year,

-- caravans: every two years,

-- trucks: every year.

We are in the middle of a German cliché, and yet it is hardly an exaggeration: our neighbors want to control everything to feel safe, while in France, technical inspection is a chore.

Not particularly a guarantee of quality.... In the 90s they certified chinoix gear which was crap without names... Who remembers the rolling jacks and jack stands from outirors which dropped a quarter of their admissible load.. .

My ion from 2012, 125 km, did not have this problem, just the "cracked" tires to change, even if not worn, and AB, re-adjusted.

It was only Norauto, when changing tires, who wanted to change my brake pads...

And I told the guy that it only had barely 125 km, and that we'd see it in about 000.

Please note the price of electricity in this table, home charging, is the cheapest!

No subscription or overcharged kWh as is the case at motorway charging stations...

On the other hand, electricity in Belgium is one of the most expensive in Europe...

If the car consumes 20 kWh/100 km, recharging losses (15%) included, then this makes the price of the average home kWh in Belgium 5.3 / 20 = 26.5 cts/kWh ... not so far from France now therefore ...

If you charge at home, it's more like 13 cents per kWh, if you have the right subscription to suit your needs....

I remind you that I was in a "plug" consumption, therefore with the various losses, in the 15 kWh per 100 km, over more than 70 km.

I will do my consumption again soon, over 90 km.

So, with the latest prices, I remain, on average, less than €2 per 100 km.
