That sounds interesting: www.kaplan-energy.com/Actualites/Nouvea ... enu-1.html

A bit expensive (for now?) By cons ...

Interestingly, I had already thought of using latent heat for calorie storage but without looking any further ... neither gas / liquid nor "conditioning"

By tale that makes 20 year history of the solar system using latent heat in the primary circuit ... those are heat pumps with the evaporator = solar collector.

The price is clearly anything by cons as you say:

Average cost of the operation: about 3 600 euros for an individual.

And for our buffer 70L 000: 360 000 is then €? : Mrgreen:

You think the guy would have been that far (with website article that talks about it, etc ...)

Not impossible but I would be disappointed ... :?

It starts badly his article: "For technical reasons involving a financial additional cost, the preceding attempts were never conclusive." Ah good, and they work how the solar power plants of 2005 in Almeria: 24h / 24h thanks to the phase changes of eutectic salt.

For the particular purpose, it is true that it is rare, and it is expensive, but rare does not mean nonexistent, look at these achievements in Germany: glazing GlassX.

For the price, it's as if you compared a stove with an old cast iron stove ground ... The second is more efficient and has more inertia, but the artisan that you install will not make you side price gifts? :D

This is not the quad but almost quintuple glazing!

So +1 it's econologically probably great "anything" ... except maybe in the deserts or at the north poles?

Already triple glazing is not "profitable" under our lattitudes in all directions ...
