As long as we are in ND modernization ...

A hologram of Jesus (see apostles and Mary ...) would that be nice in Notre Dame 2.0 right? : Cheesy:

Like a holographic story a week with 21st century technology ... it will change pompous organs to death!

A real modernization of the building would give a serious facelift to a church which is completely picking it up !! They want to attract the younger generations? Let them start by no longer living with 15th century resources ... : Shock:

Those exempt from the ISF take advantage of this to step up to the plate.

In a few years, we will learn that they benefited from tax reductions but that they never gave anything ... : Lol:

Certainly, at this moment the Catholic religion encounters many pitfalls!
It is already entangled in the stories of manners that you know and that never end, and now one of its majestic symbols goes up in smoke to reach the heavens ...

Believing or not, you have to wonder if this new drama is not the expression of the wrath (s) of God (s) towards men!

On this video of the collapse of the spire, we can clearly see the yellow smoke (very dirty) which appears after the impact (from the tower on the rest of the burning leaded roof ...):

I wondered how much wood could represent this frame.

About the fire at Strasbourg Cathedral in 1870, Wikipedia gives this info:

"The roof of the cathedral was damaged during the bombardments of the city of Strasbourg, during the Franco-Prussian war of 1870. During the night of September 26 to 27, projectiles set fire to the roofs of the nave and the choir (the copper-clad timber frames had been reconstructed following the fire of 1759). The fire extended over 60 meters in length and 15 meters in width, devouring 600 cubic meters of wood and 12 tonnes of copper, but it did not The arches were not damaged. The fire under control, the shells continued to rain for a whole month. The arrow itself was damaged: it received thirteen projectiles in all. "

600 cubic meters in Strasbourg. So probably much more at Notre-Dame. Dried wood under the roofs for centuries! One can imagine the energy released ... A cubic meter of oak is about 2 kWh (at 000% humidity). So there again, much more!

In Strasbourg or Reims, it was wars. But elsewhere it was sometimes neglect. The castle of Lunéville, it was a short circuit. The Parliament of Brittany in Rennes was the victim ... of a demonstration and of negligence!

In 1994, the fall in fish prices, the deterioration of sales and competition from other European countries led to a crisis for Breton fishermen. On the occasion of Prime Minister Édouard Balladur's visit, 4 people moved to Rennes on February 1994, XNUMX and were stranded outside the prefecture by the CRS. The demonstration degenerates into a riot when entering the city center: paving stones are launched, several shop windows are broken and violent confrontations with the police are engaged. Nevertheless, the evening sees the events calm down ...
Several distress rockets are launched near the palace shortly before the end of the demonstration. One of them breaks a slate and ends up in the frame. The day ends, the demonstrators disperse; the city of Rennes thinks it can finally regain its peace of mind. Throughout the evening and part of the night, rockets fell on the roof of the Convent Palace without attracting attention. The fire alarm will go off several times, but the caretaker decides each time to cancel the alarm, thinking that it is too sensitive and that it only goes off because of the wind, and no not alert the competent authorities. Passers-by warn the firefighters: two successive calls at 0:29 am and 0:30 am report the fire, followed by a police call. "

This is already provided for by law! At a rate of 60% for the companies (because when the kadors such as Arnault or Pinault announce these "donations", it is their companies which are raiding! On the "Patronage" accounts).

And that's of course how to understand it.

They will go so far as to fight to "help". With a huge "take-back"! Ah the generous people here, in the minds of the French still a little whiny!

And in addition, they will be prominently next to the president during the inauguration. I think for a ticket of 100 million or more, it should be a right?

They will perhaps "privatize" the cathedral for the marriage of a child (as Ghosn did, on behalf of Renault, at Versailles - it was his own remarriage!).

Some (Stéphane Bern, deputies) are fighting to have the rate increased to 90% by classifying Notre-Dame under I do not know what status (that of the works that we want to keep in FRance).

Note:

a) these companies in any case "lock" the fiscal possibilities and "slam" their sponsorship budget (within the limit of 0,5% of turnover - I believe); if not, it will be to bring in rare works (Basquiat recently), to sponsor cultural events, etc ...

b) therefore, this money will be lacking elsewhere ...

c) and in any case, the State indirectly "pays" 60% by taxes that it will not collect !!! This will have repercussions on other State expenses, those which are compressible: budget for culture, grants to associations, number of civil servants, closures of public services, etc.

Yesterday I heard 1500 tonnes of wood in the frame.

Sponsorship: 66% returned by the state
Limit: on less than 20% of revenues

Obviously it is a way of not touching this fiscal niche of friends and tapping on others whom he often cites (employment of a person at home) which affects more median income, and so many elderly people.
This is the kind of measure that will dry up these jobs ...
The muddy conclusions of its great debate will wait officially (although we know of the little inadequate content.
But he will rebuild the cathedral before taking care of the toothless who only claim the right to live decently from their work.
With repression, with the sale of other wealth in the country, this president becomes illegitimate.
