Hi there. My panels (amateur installation) are placed on my garage roof at 3m high. To put myself in order and since it would be complicated for me to lower them or put them on the ground, I must make a declaration to the town planning department of my municipality. Is it complicated? My panels do not disturb the neighborhood in any way, I specify, because they are well located. Is it long? Is there anything to pay?
I have 2 100w and 4 150w panels. That is a total power of 800w self-consumed.

Re: Panels placed at more than 1m80
I don't quite understand the question! If the roof belongs to you you can do what you want...as long as you don't overflow (too much: there is a tolerance)
Restrictive town planning rules (like if the garage is adjoining) are managed by the Town Hall on a case-by-case basis so...difficult to answer without more details...
If you only have one declaration, I think it's free and not very long on the deadlines...

hmmmmm
for so little I wouldn't move...
they are already installed and you have not made the prior declaration...
it's a bit like if you drive at 100 instead of 90 and then you go to see the man in blue to put yourself in order...
your PLU can potentially be boring and prohibit the PV
or else you can come across a somewhat zealous town planner who will give you... a report, you will have fallen into the... panel.

Ah, that's why I didn't understand!
How long have they been on?

They have been in place for 12 years. It's just that at the time I didn't even know that permission was needed for more than 1m80. So, no one has ever bothered me with that, but it's just that I'm trying to make a declaration to Enedis that my installation will be used without injection, just to be in order. Before, my panels were only used to power external products on their own independent network or source inverter. But now I want to inject into my home network and declare.
In short, I tell myself that this story of height regulation must intervene. Afterwards, if it is not required, we saw nothing...
If the request for work is really necessary in the town hall and the panels are already installed, well, I remove them for their beautiful eyes if they come to see what it will consist of, and I put them back in place this time on authorization. In a few hours it's over.

12 years ?
There is an administrative prescription there!!
If you open it, I think Remundo's prediction might turn out to be correct: a PV for your PV!!
If you don't inject anything, there is no declaration to make...at least not at Enedis...and as for the installation there is a prescription...TG!!!

Don't laugh, the PV could largely erase the savings you've made in 12 years...

Approximately how much?
But then, what do you recommend me to do?

Re: Panels placed at more than 1m80
Administratively: nothing!
And make a clean and efficient electrical assembly.
If you already have a source inverter, a good battery and 0 injection with a hybrid inverter at 500€ and that's it!
