Radiator installation: put a radiant vertically

by CLAIRAND » 24/09/07, 18:00

Hello
my question is in the subject actually.

I have 2 horizontal radians that annoy me well to place given their dimensions (114 cm) so I was wondering if a vertical break was contraindicated?

Thank you for your answers

A priori no contraindication (at the functional level at least), what models do you have exactly?

Me, I had to try, and the beast almost no longer heat (this is an old model 6-7 years), it came from the design, sorry I no longer have the reasons in mind. Electrically it lit up well, but did not heat up any more: therefore to be tested.

See with the thermostat. If he was on the side and once put in the vertical direction he was above, then he had to cut all the time as soon as it got a little hot ...

Ah you don't stupid I had not thought of that ... it can also be a thermostat (bimetal style) which only works in "one direction" of installation ...
