Germany: independent house
In Freiburg, a fully autonomous solar house was built with additional hydrogen storage. When the production provided by the solar cells is in excess, there is electrolysis of water and production of hydrogen. This hydrogen is stored in pressurized tanks. When the sun is out, hydrogen powers a fuel cell to produce heat and electricity.

When cold, I remember photos of batteries, fuel cells linked to wind or solar power, community wind turbines, And the "swagelock thing, which makes excellent material, scares me thousands of liters of dH
Stored… .brrrrr
Happy reading, for those who want ...
But hey ... it was still 2 hours of reading, and research
