Good VS Fake bargains on Aliexpress?

I'm taking up the idea of a thread launched by Phil59 on Chinese equipment purchase tests, because I'm also interested.

phil59 wrote:I tested this rescue "wolf"

I used it today, about 30 minutes, without pb, to intervene in my electrical panel, at the entrance to the cellar.

So, at the beginning of me, generally, between 1 and 4, you have it at 1.79€, small price, small risk.

Well, 60W ..... I would have said at best 5 W, the 60W must be "musical W" or equivalent in lux ....
It is supplied with a piece of usb cord, and the hook ...

2 light intensities, and a "flash" mode.

I haven't tested a full discharge yet...
I opened, and did not see the type of battery inside, it looks like it was cast in resin. In any case not an 18650.

I have an acquaintance who heats with wood and bought an electric/hydraulic wood splitter whose motor would be, "220 volts three phase".

Problem: it is 220 volts simple.

Who has never complained about not being able to use a three-phase device? Is there a simple solution to connect it and make it work?

On Aliexpress there would be a kind of inverter that would allow it... (tweezers)

There are no complications to be made, from the three-phase it is easy to deliver single or two-phase.

No, it's the opposite, it's from his single-phase domestic network that he wants to start a three-phase motor.

er, I'm not sure but if 220v three-phase then it's the same phase all three times so no need for a three-phase meter;
it would therefore suffice to bridge the same phase for all three (because if 220 no need for a different phase, or am I wrong?)

No, these are 3 different phases. There are 4 wires on the posts: 3 phases and the bottom wire is the neutral.
It is always possible to "manufacture" three-phase with single-phase, but it is quite expensive regardless of the solution adopted.

The seller has good feedback.

Be careful to choose the right version.

For a 1500 W motor, choose the 2.2 kW version. Normally a splitter does not start under load, you should be fine.

I had this:
Connecting a 380v three-phase motor to 220v single-phase

Here is the Steinmetz coupling, or, how to connect a 380v three-phase motor to 220V mono.
The principle is simple, it suffices to place a permanent capacitor across the terminals of a stator winding, which will generate a rotating field and will cause the rotation of the motor.
It should be noted that the engine will then lose at least 30% of its power.
Then simply apply the following assembly:

- Three-phase motor connected to 220V.jpg
- Three-phase motor connected to 220V.jpg (72.13 KiB) Consulted 1309 times

400VAC capacitor preferable to a 250VAC
