This trick can not extract more kinetic energy from the water that flows through it. Given the size and the operating mode of the machine, I would say about a few watt ...

Everything depends on the size of the work, but vortex or not, the rules are the same, the power of the fall is a function of its height and water flow.
What is interesting to know is the performance of the energy recovery device, which can not provide more energy than the fall can provide any way.

That's what I think too...
Maybe a few dozen with this model (a hundred at most ...) and given that we have no figures it is still an invention that will fuel speculation ...

I find the concept interesting because it through on a slightly different principle of Kplan example. But interesting because it is the first time I see a turbine using a vortex to operate. It remains to know the rendement.Mais difficult to do better than Kaplan.

I would say a few milliwatts. The water comes on the periphery and goes down in the middle. We can see that the level does not go down and overflows. And given the axis rikiki and the skinny generator that should not charge in any load, no doubt it's pipel.

Curious indeed, but that does not make it an effective system.
On the virtual video we see a simple arm driven by the rotation of the water. Just by holding the axis in my hand, I am convinced that it is easily prevented from turning.
