I read but I zapped this message ... and excuse me but:

500103 89 90 € XNUMX

... we don't really know what it is ...

I have to go there in a while, I would watch firsthand ...

this is exactly what I wrote in the message where I put this link: their site is not clear; you need 2 boxes of 9tube and a collector has 18 tubes to make a sensor

in addition their description is false: they speak of a tube with incorporated reflector: no there is no reflector: it is only thermos tubes with black deposit in a vacuum on the inner tube ...

but just go to the store to see what you buy

order bazaar directly from China: if the description is wrong you will see it on delivery!

And as long as we are in the approximate descriptions, are they heatpipes? Ie with a heat pipe (no water in the tube)?

yes it is heat pipes, which I don't even use: I prefer to replace it with a U-shaped tube where the water is heated or even vaporized

I find that the heat pipe limits the power

the vacuum tube is of sufficient temperature to make a steam engine

This is exactly the question I have been asking myself for over a year since I talked about these tubes on the site :-)

And with fresnel lenses above the tube, you should be able to descend even lower for an entire sensor, and the protected tube below.

1) the budgets are there: compressed to the max, often. So the mowns don't put solar, just the cheapest CC possible.

2) the installers are there to make a number: they work with equipment they know well, aware that they will probably need supplier assistance sooner or later. In addition, it is well known: who says subsidies says certificates ....

3) we must admit that it is not pretty pretty: I passed yesterday in a very "solarized" district composed exclusively of houses of less than 15 years (Obaix, entity of Pont à Celles, Belgium). I saw a multitube sensor there; let's not be afraid of words: it's ugly!

Well then, if I put welded bottles! ...
: Cheesy:

I did a glass test this apreme with all the bottles that went to the container.
With a basic butane chalutorh, indeed nothing is possible.
Even when turning, it happens to turn pink, but the bottle farts further.
I was able to stick 2 by the neck, on a corner.
Mission and finishing impossible.
I will try with an improved butane…

with the pyrex, which has a low expansion coefficient, it is possible to heat up to melt the area to be welded while it is still cold a few centimeters further

with the bottle glass no question: so that it does not break it is necessary to heat the whole bottle, not far from the melting before heating the area to be welded stronger ... and continue to heat the whole gently so as not to it breaks on cooling

but then what could be useful for a solar collector that does not support heat?
