It seems that the stove uses wicks, as for a kerosene lamp, which implies the use of a clean oil, no recycled Chinese cooking oil, otherwise the wick is clogged.
Still, it's super interesting :D

Yes, there are some beautiful achievements, maybe inspiration for the BABs.

For info, the WE when I caved, I heat my water with a P3RS is an alcohol stove made from 2 cans of coca.

But if I can make one that works in oil to impress friends, it would be nice

For the stove with the bottoms of cans.

I did not understand the filling well.
And the making of 3 three holes.

Can we put more alcohol to hold 20 'with a bigger bottom and holes higher than 1,5cm?

a dual fuel alcohol / oil would be simpler: use a small alcohol burner to generate combustible oil vapors.

small mistake: it is the old PRS that is presented and not the P3RS, more efficient :D :

see also the "pinion" model: Image

exhaustive tests have been carried out (as on wood stoves in tin cans with double flow!) on the forum Randonnerleger .org .. must search on this forum
