It seems that the stove uses wicks, as for a kerosene lamp, which implies the use of a clean oil, no recycled Chinese cooking oil, otherwise the wick is clogged.

Yes, there are some beautiful achievements, maybe inspiration for the BABs.
For info, the WE when I caved, I heat my water with a P3RS is an alcohol stove made from 2 cans of coca.

small mistake: it is the old PRS that is presented and not the P3RS, more efficient :
