The gas boiler is in the technical room of the garage.

The Cap would be an 8 KW, finally for the moment we only have an "oral quote" we are waiting to receive the quote in writing. It would be a Chappée brand.

And if not a pellet boiler is it out of budget for us?

Exact. I know at least the condensing pellet boilers from Okofen intended to be fitted with a suction cup. See on their site. I have one (even if it is mounted in conventional casing but of 80 diameter only).

But there, I think it was a question of wood boiler that is to say logs ...

Oh my drunk! I really don't know what to fall back on.

I think we are going to opt for a wood pellet stove finally placed in the living room and which should heat the whole house well and then as soon as we have more money we will put another boiler because eventually we would still like to keep our PC ...

In any case, thank you for your advice. :D

Actually no. There are stoves-boilers at less than 3000 € HT, and boilers at 4000 € HT, with a reserve of 100kg. The installation, I think in the 1000 €, stainless steel fireplace 1000 € also if necessary.
But if you want to have pellets at the best price, you have to be able to have them delivered in bulk, which implies a storage silo. Self-construction or 2000 €. And if you don't want to fill the boiler by hand, a screw costs another 1500 €.

Hello,

I'm coming back to you because the situation has changed a bit since March ...
We have practically finished the exterior coating and we already feel the effects +++
But the point that has changed the most is our budget, I will spare you the details : Cheesy: but we have a sum of € 20000.

So what solution would suit us to get rid of this dear P *** gas knowing that:
- we have a budget of € 20
- we would like to keep the heated floor on the ground floor if possible
- do not have too much work to do or have done (because here we saturate it's been 3 years already : Shock: )

Thank you for your advice.
It may not be obvious because we do not know precisely the energy consumption of our house but overall it is very well isolated now:
- wood frame + straw wall + exterior lime coating and interior earth coating (plasterboard lining)
- double glazing with argon
- insulated roof in wood wool panels (20 cm)
- many openings to the south so passive heating not bad

Voila, I await your answers.

Above all, we want to do future work for our heating.
