That's good, we don't produce rice in France...and comparing oilseeds with proteins is also nonsense...

The corn is far from growing like cacti...we have to stop the weed guys.

In Alsace, overhead water pumps still run very regularly (even if less than before) to irrigate corn.
It's an irrigation system that wastes a lot of water...when the corn is adult, I think that more than 50% does not reach the roots of the corn...but OSEF, the water table is not far away and the fuel oil was cheap (yes it was motorcycle pumps)

Aren't you tired of relaying to ignorant people? : Shock:

More competent than you to talk about it.
Like Remundo, you are victims of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

I'm just trying to raise the level a little forum. I'm too good :P

I am convinced that the idiot who thinks that corn grows as well as cacti : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: has never seen an aerial pump in operation in Alsace...(or elsewhere)

Me yes! It looks like a fire hose and it projects water in a radius of 30 to 50 m (see more, see video of the following message)... they were running all summer during the day when I was a teenager. ..

But it's beautiful to live in the virtual world all the time! I prefer reality...

Here, you will show him this, irrigation of Alsatian cacti: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:

Look at the size of the pump motor...certainly more hp than in your car...and it certainly turns more per year than the engine in your car...

Then we water the forest a little (a lot), no problem, it's the EU subsidies that pay for the fuel oil...the CO2? Um...what is it?

You confirm that you are only interested in the visible part of the iceberg.

In my region we don't water the corn, but in the Loiret it's understandable. They don't have such efficient water tables either, which is why they make reserves that the eco-terrorists are working to destroy out of pure stupid idealism.
More than 200 irrigation reserves are listed by the Loiret DDT, for a volume of stored water exceeding 6 million cubic meters.
