But very covered ... The solar panel of my electric gateway is struggling to keep the battery in correct charge this year ...

The only thing safe in the future. It is that there may chance that it conforms to our expectations ...

In the United States it is obviously the coldest in a long time ...

Otherwise here is fed up with the wind! This is easily the sixth storm we eat: I have a shed which is almost completely collapsed and a piece of roof of the house which has come down.
Fed up !

Yes, indeed, it depends on where we stand.

And all this seems to me to illustrate the fact that what is called "global warming" must be understood well as "an average", but that often, and everywhere, it is especially increased agitation, variability (like a saucepan that starts by boiling). And this is what we are witnessing: a polar mass which descends more to the level of the USA; with us ,; the south-west flow which settles down permanently and in a more "violent" way ...

I think we haven't finished paying the damage, or the damage insurance ...

Monday I saw a group of kites spinning above my house.

In 1970 my father told me "the kites are coming on March 15th", and since then I have been observing the sky every year. They always arrive at the beginning of March, it is the first time that I see them so early in the year.

They left, maybe it was a lost group?

Or is it a sign of warming?

Worse right now, there is a thunderstorm with lightning and thunder.

Not in my memories of having seen this here in February ..?

We also had a little storm this afternoon. I have no particular memories on this subject to know if I have already seen it or not, but if so it remains super rare.

Yesterday evening, the first dandelion "salad" (white underground regrowth). In my youth, it was April!

IT is obvious that for Western Europe, winter has been, until then, so abnormally mild that it is difficult to speak of winter ...

Note that it is not yet finished, winter ...

I would not be surprised if we still have snow or very cold before spring (last year this is what happened during the flowering of cherries, no cherries).

We are talking about home ... but across the Atlantic it is still very cold this winter ...

Even Niagara Falls freezes !!

Image

I wonder what our Quebecer André who complained about the mildness of the last winters thinks about it ...
