How to properly design a VTOL/ADAV helicopter-plane?

Transport and new transport: energy, pollution, engine innovations, concept car, hybrid vehicles, prototypes, pollution control, emission standards, tax. not individual transport modes: transport, organization, carsharing or carpooling. Transport without or with less oil.

It looks like it had a small load-bearing wing...too bad it was blown away by the rotors...

A monster that only the Soviets knew how to make!

4 turbine engines but only 2 rotors?

They must not have had powerful enough turbines at the time or a redundancy safety story?

Certainly a logic of redundancy.
Almost all helicopters that must carry heavy loads have 2 turbine engines per rotor, sometimes even 3.
Except the V 22 Osprey and its cousins.

Ah, that’s why the V22 prototypes killed so many people, you think?

Which cousins??

I do not know anymore !
These are not the kind of clearly identified flying objects that excite me the most...

There were several prototypes in the 70s and 80s, before reaching the V 22 Osprey series.
And many similar projects... especially in Europe.
