Repair Norauto Premium 1500 battery charger

Unpleasant surprise, my Premium Norauto charger bought in 2019 no longer turns on! Here's what I found and how to fix it.
Power off! - Unscrew the 4 screws from the front panel, using a pair of pliers, remove the plastic part blocking the 220V cable. pull the electronic plate towards you and remove the plastic plate (2 screws) protecting the plate.
first observation: on the HS fuse board
disassemble the VMOS support radiator and the three diodes: Observation:, VMOS HS as well as one of the diodes (the one on the right in photo 1).
Take the opportunity to test the diode bridge (unsoldered on photo2, mine ok) as well as the SMD diodes on the solder side (ok) photo2
change VMOS and diodes on the heatsink
I made the choice to change for components holding more voltage and more amperage. VMOS STF15N95K5, Diodes BYC15-1200PQ (Alie....) cost 17€ for 10 pcs...photo3. I lined silicone grease under the components and under the insulation sheet. It's a plus, maybe useless because thermally conductive insulation, but while I was there ....
I added a fuse holder (equipped with a 5A fuse) instead of the original fuse on the board to make it more accessible
reassemble everything, test: photo 4

OK good job, quite a few components in the end.
It's probably always the same failure that this type of device suffers from.
Did you replace with the same components or did you use better quality components?

It reminds me of my dryer (whirlpool).
You type the name of the component that seems fried,
you fall directly on the card repair kits ... (to say how all the cards end up with the same failure)
In the end, not even 5 euros for components, less than 10 euros with shipping costs...
I already know that I should perform the operation again in 7 years, if the resistance is not burned out by then or the bearings explode.

It's probably always the same failure that this type of device suffers from.

It probably suffered a strong overload, so not in current use.

This is a lot for a charger that must deliver 12 V/ 15 A. A 1 A fuse would be more than enough and would not prevent a component from burning out if the maximum power is required for too long.

The same on first-price washing machines... The adjustment of "planned obsolescence" breakdowns also having a cost (they don't have time to do it with appliances sold for €200?) it's sometimes simply the big condo that starts the engine that fails...

If we refer to the first message, this fuse is not directly accessible and the front panel must be removed:

After this operation, you should easily see this fuse and be able to change it. This is not a practical implementation for the user...

Otherwise, you must try to unscrew the fluted thingy (indicated by the red arrow),

located behind near the power cable, it looks like a fuse holder (be careful, the device seems to be placed upside down on the table, if so, the fuse will therefore be on the other side).

I don't see the fuse, but it should logically be between the power cord and the beginning of the circuit board, so at the entrance...
