Hello,
Nothing to do, I can not loosen this p ... n nut. despite a wrench and a lever of 1,20m, nothing moves, as if it is welding ... I wonder if I will not try to change this oil seal without dismantling, it may be the solution. There also seems to be an O-ring below the spinnaker. By changing it is 2 joints it may be enough ???
It's badly started, I'm starting to get angry and that's not a good sign ...

It is very probably mounted with a sealing glue .... Heat the foundry piece with a heat gun then tap all around with a hammer (not the model for shoeing rabbits) reheat and try to loosen ...

Thanks Macro, I hadn't thought of that. So I will try to heat up. otherwise do you think it is possible to change the gaskets without dismantling?

Re: Reference "GERMAN STYLE" pallet truck seals which has a leak
I doubt.
Was your pallet truck just leaking? Did that prevent him from going up? Because personally I have at my job who have been there for longer than me (I've been working there for 27 years) .... And no worries with the pebbles which are eaten ... For me your transpal should be well a lowcost chinoiserie and even the seals changed there is a good chance that he continues to pee .... unless you notice a real degradation of the seal ... But in my opinion the truth will be in the piston machining / bore which would be too approximate ...

Re: Reference "GERMAN STYLE" pallet truck seals which has a leak
Yes it was only leaking but I could go up and down. However, I have the impression that it is relatively strong and rather well finished (in appearance), the only visible inscription gives an indication of a mark "GERMAN STYLE" which suggests that it is German therefore a priori good quality???
well we will see if possible repair, otherwise too bad !!!
A+

Are you sure it's the right oil in it? An unsuitable oil can cause leaks (in the photos the seal does not look in very bad condition) ...
I do not know if there are anti (micro) hydraulic leaks ... given the pressures I presume not but a little research should answer quickly ...

Re: Reference "GERMAN STYLE" pallet truck seals which has a leak
Hi Christopher,
yes it is the right oil, I have changed and put in recommended hydraulic oil. I do not understand!!! I bought it secondhand, the guy told me that he had knocked it over and that the oil was mostly gone but it worked, I made the top up, it worked and then at over time I noticed that there was a leak.

Re: Reference "GERMAN STYLE" pallet truck seals which has a leak
I am not a specialist in pallet trucks but I do not think it is normal for hydraulic oil to leak when a pallet truck overturns ...
Unless the nanny runs away?
I dare to take a silly idea, but who knows? Wouldn't your leak be just "too full"?
