Nothing to say about the editing and the pleasure you certainly had in doing it. Hat.
But without indiscretion, what use is it to you?

To recharge the battery....which will power a fan for more realism! : Mrgreen:

Seriously, it's mostly educational!

Exact, for fun and to physically realize what 50 or 100W of electrical power represents.

Very nice achievement, very useful in emerging countries, when the dad pedals, the kids have light to do their homework...

Hello everyone :-)

I am new to the forum and your editing interests me a lot.
I hope I am posting in the right place.

I have a project to create a mirror ball disco bike for our party collective :-)
Concretely, an exercise bike will be in the middle of the dance floor and will power a small BàF motor and one or two LED projectors (20w each). The dancers will have to take turns on the bike if they want light!
I have questions about the electronic part concerning the assembly that I would need for:
- Supply the motor and projectors with 220V
- That the assembly is protected in the event of an overvoltage due to a particularly motivated pedaller!
- Have a very slight autonomy (from a few seconds to a minute) when you stop pedaling (Big capacitor? What capacity?)

Thank you for your lights !

Hello, you might as well have everything in 12 V, LEDs and mirror ball gear motor
For example: https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005005225598714.html

Indeed, it is better to stay in 12V DC, with a regulator of this kind to limit the voltage: https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005004319515930.html
The 230V converter will only complicate the system, it would have to be re-armed at each change of pedal unless you put a battery in, but then the lighting will not turn off if you stop pedaling, which takes away all the interest of the system.
A super capacitor to keep an autonomy of some ten seconds is a good idea, on the other hand I have no idea of the capacity to use.
