Hello everybody
I have a wall (in red brick), which I want to insulate from the inside (impossible for the moment from the outside). Only I don't want to do the "classic" rail / insulation / vapor barrier / Fermacell. I actually want to use an insulating clay plaster. It's new it's called Isol Argilus.
To increase the R I thought of using cork which I will then spread with clay. The questions I ask myself are:
- Is cork breathable?
- my wall is not completely flat, can I make a lime or even clay plaster between the wall and the cork?
Do you see other insulation solutions to do without a frame and vapor barrier?
Goods.
Wall insulation ITI insulating coating, insulation or both?
