v What is the quality of a pump?
I do speak as robustness.
a centrifugal pump brico trick 40 euro with cast iron body and impeller (helix) cast iron will be much more resistant than your pumps multicellular wheeled plastic and even stainless steel 300 or 400 euro
it can pump more without big impurity deteriorate and has tournerat longer empty before breaking the seal and the impeller is not damaged.
the interret of a muticellulaire c is that according to the stage of nb pressure can be much larger and pumps or pressure is enough elevé less in diameter footprint.
the stage pumps being more complex (several pumps in series) it is more expensive and more difficult to repair if not impossible given the cost
the only positive I see c diff is better features (just be the price) a slightly lower conso elec max pressure against 5.5 4 and higher throughput: mcube 5.5 / 4.2 H against me

I have not told ca ... I know a little about how it works and the flow pressure curves NPSH. I ride demmonte and repaired at least one pump per week at work and all types.
