Thermal wind turbine?

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

Distortion of reality! I don't feel like I saw a hint of rudeness in Remundo's post...

Indeed, I specified "in chosen terms". But basically...

It translates "the underlying semantic substrate" (sic!).

Without forgetting (sic too) "the informal substrate in chromatic polarities".

...it goes without saying: you take the words out of my mouth! 8) The important thing is still to avoid polysemous inferences (especially those with paroxysmal tendencies)...

I wouldn't go so far as to say that.

First out of courtesy, but also perhaps in a certain technical-economic configuration... the Savonius on a dissipative rotor could find its niche.

That's why I tried to help Baudouin, but he answered me very badly.

For a house that has electricity, I am not convinced of this method and I stick to my idea of a wind turbine with good performance coupled with a heat pump.

If you are in the middle of the bush without electricity... But to make heat, a small wood-burning fireplace also seems relevant.

Thermodynamically, it's always a shame to degrade mechanical work into heat. Mechanical labor is something valuable to use wisely.

An "interesting" comparison of the degradation of mechanical work would be to compare it, in this case, we could create 2 home-trainers, one in the form of a pedal boat in a tank
VS
The other a home-trainer producing electricity.

Then compare with the increase in water temperature in one case, compared to the production of electricity in the other...

With the same "animal strength" available for the experiment, we can imagine what will prevail...
Here the comparison seems more telling, but sometimes it takes time to realize that there may be better options to choose from...
