I didn't have time to post so I would just do more... To break it all 10w. Your DC machine, even when empty, will block your wheel... You could possibly do something better with the generation of a small wind turbine (there are plenty of them for sale on Leboncon) or possibly a reversible VAE motor of the genus Bion

In terms of use, if this provided enough to run a small refrigerator that would be amazing, and maybe light up a few LEDs.
THE fall is not high on the video but it can be higher, as for the flow it varies over the year.
Thank you in any case for your many responses.

Well will you give us some news after commissioning?
But the main message, even if it works which would already be good, is that you should not expect a production of more than a few W.
Good continuation.

Complement: jihem tells us that he abandoned a solution based on a car alternator, but he does not tell us why, even though the video shows that he was trained. If it's because he didn't produce enough for what he hoped for, maybe it's just that he hoped for too much!

Yes it's clear...
I'm not a specialist in the field, but for small systems, the bucket wheel is not the most efficient. The Pelton is more suitable, but requires a little drop height if you want to get some power from it.

This type of project is not what is lacking on the forum

Good memory, but it wasn't very conclusive! It was a random DIY...

No, rather selective memory

Yes If this is a good example of the performance obtained with such techniques
