How much acetone does it take to hope to transmit, say, 2 kW peak?

You hear what not "that we heat the welded end" in your penultimate sentence? Heat by hand?

Hello,

Ribs, ugly words straight away !! No we do with what we have!
Copper tube of 12 or 14 that is enough, bigger is more better !!

For the heating of the welded end, it is the verification of the principle of the heat pipe.
Vertical position or almost, we heat the welded end with the Christine gas stove while holding the tube in the hand by the middle of its length.
The temperature of the other end (with the plug) becomes almost equal to that of the soldered end and the middle remains cold (well almost if you insist you will burn yourself anyway by copper conduction) :D

For the power must be tested but this is a demonstrator not a thing to sell !! : Cry:
